HERMON — A Young Americans Workshop hosted by Morita’s School of Dance and Hermon High School will be held Sunday through Tuesday, Oct. 12-14. Early registration will take place 5:30-7:30 p.m. beginning Thursday, Sept. 4. The co-ed workshop open all area students, grades three through 12. Rachel Caron of Brewer is currently part of the Young Americans troupe and will be on the troupe’s northeast 2014 tour. The workshop will culminate with a performance with the Young Americans performing the first half of the show at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Hermon High School. Workshop students will join the Young Americans for the second half of the performance. Tickets may be purchased in advance and at the door. A group of Young Americans will be in Hermon on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd to answer questions about the workshop. The Young Americans program and college are located in Corona, California.
