HARRINGTON, Maine — More than 2,000 Emera Maine customers are without power Friday afternoon because of a traffic accident in Harrington, officials said.

According to a company statement, a vehicle struck a power pole in Harrington, which knocked out power to 2,026 customers in Gouldsboro, Harrington, Milbridge, Roque Bluffs, Steuben and Town Hill.

Power was expected to be restored later Friday afternoon.
