FALMOUTH, Maine — An 18-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaking into two residences while naked on Saturday, according to police.

Logan Valle, 18, is charged with two counts of burglary after being captured in the attic of a Fieldstone Lane residence, according to Falmouth Police Lt. Jon Kilbride.

Valle had forced his way into two homes on Fieldstone Lane while naked, according to Kilbride. He also attempted to take keys to steal one resident’s vehicle, the lieutenant said.

At the same time of the burglaries, Falmouth firefighters were dispatched to a fire at Valle’s parents’ home on Inverness Road, Kilbride said.

The house was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, according to Kilbride. While a cause has not been determined, the house and attached garage were destroyed.

Meanwhile, two miles from the location where Valle was taken into custody, his vehicle was found in the parking lot of the Falmouth Country Club. Valle apparently tried to burn the vehicle but was not successful, Kilbride said.

Falmouth police and fire, along with the State Fire Marshal’s office, are investigating the matter further.
