‘Top Doc’ listing
BANGOR — Dr. Heather Evans of St. Joseph Family Medicine, Evergreen Woods, has been named to DownEast magazine’s annual list of Top Doctors for 2014. The fourth annual “Top Docs” peer survey is based on voting by physicians statewide. The listing of all winners will be published in the forthcoming January issue of the magazine.
The survey lists top Maine physicians by specialty, based on the survey question: “If you or a family member had a problem in the following areas, who would you select as the best specialist in Maine?”
Evans is a family physician board certified in family medicine and neuromuscular medicine-
osteopathic manipulation. Evans also received recently a “Patient’s Choice” designation from Vitals.com, a nationwide physician search and rating website.
DownEast will host a reception in January in Scarborough to honor all of the 2105 “Top Docs.”
This is the second consecutive year a St. Joseph Healthcare physician has made the DownEast “Top Docs” list.
Dr. Mark Henderson of St. Joseph Endocrinology was listed in 2014.
