LEBANON, Maine — Nine people were injured in a four-car pile-up on Route 202 in Lebanon on Thursday night.
Assistant Fire Chief Dan Roy said the call came in around 6:19 p.m.
“Two cars were initially involved, they hit head-on,” Roy said. “There were two other cars also involved. Trying to avoid the crash, one car stopped and the other car hit that one.”
Of the nine people injured, Roy said six were taken to Southern Maine Healthcare, Sanford campus. One was taken by LifeFlight to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Three people were evaluated at the scene, Roy said.
Roy said the roads were clear and with relatively high temperatures it doesn’t appear weather was a factor.
