BRADLEY, Maine — An investigator with the state fire marshal’s office has determined the cause of a fire Monday that damaged a bedroom in a Main Street residence.
Sgt. Tim York said the fire was the result of a lit candle being placed too close to combustibles.
The fire at 106 Main St. was reported shortly after 10 a.m., according to a dispatcher from the Penobscot Regional Communications Center.
No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
