CORINTH, Maine — More than 1,000 Emera Maine customers woke up Friday morning without power, according to a company statement.
Crews are working to rectify outages that are affecting 1,174 customers in Penobscot County.
Affected communities include Exeter, Corinth, Garland and surrounding areas.
Crews will remain deployed until all customers are reconnected.
Those using alternate heat sources such as generators should use caution and follow manufacturer guidelines, Emera advised.
