The Brewer High School Athletic Hall of Fame committee is seeking nominations from the public for the class of 2015 inductees.

Nomination forms can be found either on the Brewer Witches athletic website www.gobrewerwitches.com under the Hall of Fame tab, or by stopping into the office of the Superintendent of Schools at 261 Center Street or from the main office at Brewer High School at 79 Parkway South.

Chairman and Athletic Director, David Utterback, reiterated the importance of the community in this process.

“This is a community initiative. We want the community to be involved. If there was an athlete you grew up watching, a coach you competed for, or someone you know that made a significant contribution, please, send along a nomination so the committee can consider this individual and their contributions to the Brewer Witches,” Utterback said in a news release. “Often times we hear that ‘so and so’ should have made the Hall of Fame. Chances are, the person was not nominated.”

Up to six former student-athletes, coaches and/or contributors will be selected by the committee for inauguration into the class. In order to be considered for the class of 2015, nominations are due April 1.

Questions about nominations can be directed to the Athletic Hall of Fame by emailing halloffame@breweredu.org or by calling Utterback at 998-8629.
