PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — A former Presque Isle resident accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl has been indicted by the Aroostook County grand jury.
Kyle Green, 33, was among 31 individuals indicted March 6, according to Aroostook County District Attorney Todd Collins.
Green was arrested in Saco last month by Detective William Scull of the Presque Isle Police Department with assistance from officers of the Saco Police Department. Presque Isle Police Chief Matt Irwin said the investigation of Green began when local police heard allegations involving a girl during Green’s visit to Presque Isle last year.
“The ensuing investigation revealed numerous electronic communications which have aided in corroborating the victim’s allegations,” Irwin said at the time.
On March 6, Green was indicted by the grand jury on four counts of sexual abuse of a minor.
