BANGOR, Maine — A water main break that affected traffic on Court Street on Wednesday morning has been rectified, city officials said.

Bangor Water District General Manager Kathy Moriarty said the broken six-inch water main affected two businesses but no homes.

She said crews started fixing the main break at 8:30 a.m., and repairs took about three hours.

The break was located near Coe Park between Boynton and Everett streets.
