AUGUSTA, Maine — Police are investigating a bomb threat at Cony High School, according to an Augusta police dispatcher.

The high school was evacuated shortly after 11 a.m. when suspicious writing was found on a bathroom wall, according to Augusta police.

All students were sent to the Augusta Civic Center, where parents were able to pick them up.

Augusta police detectives and state police canines responded.

No other information was available Tuesday afternoon.
