BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police have identified the driver whose car struck two teenagers Monday night on Hudson Road near Broadway.
Zachary Kirlin, 23, of Bradford was driving on Hudson Road about 6:30 p.m. when he hit the boys, ages 18 and 16, according to Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton.
Police did not release the names of the teenagers on Tuesday but described their injuries as “serious.” Both were taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is continuing, according to Cotton.
No further information was to be released Tuesday.
