HERMON — Jason Trundy of Winterport picked up his second straight victory on Wednesday night as he took the checkered flag in the Road Runners feature race at Speedway 95.
Trundy started 26th among 43 cars in the field, but consistently worked his way through the traffic, aided by three red flags. He grabbed the lead on the 15th lap and was able to prevail in two drag-race restarts against eventual runner-up Sam Betts of Bradley.
Andrew Cossette of Eddington finished third, followed by Rick Gomm of Dixmont and Trey Brown of Winterport, respectively.
