TROY, Maine — A Troy man is accused of putting a 12-year-old child in a chokehold.
22-year-old Paul Hustus is free on bail. He’s charged with aggravated assault.
Investigators say Hustus was joking around with the child, then put him in a chokehold.
They say the child nearly lost consciousness and that witnesses say the child was in distress.
