TRENTON, New Jersey — Trenton snapped a 2-2 tie with a run in sixth inning and took the series opener from the Portland Sea Dogs 3-2 in Eastern League baseball action Monday night at Arm & Hammer Park.

Trenton snapped Portland’s four-game winning streak.

Danny Oh scored all three runs for Trenton, leading off the sixth with a walk against losing pitcher Mike Augliera (2-14). Oh stole second base and scored on two groundouts for the game-winning run.

Jason Long (2-2) beat the Sea Dogs for the second straight relief outing, hurling three scoreless innings on one hit and two strikeouts. Former Red Sox pitcher Andrew Bailey pitched a perfect ninth for his second save.

The Sea Dogs took a 1-0 lead in the second on Keury De La Cruz’s two-out RBI single off starter Kyle Haynes.

Trenton tied the game off Danny Rosenbaum in the second. Oh led off with a single and scored on a single by Juan Graterol. Rosenbaum worked four-plus innings and gave up 10 hits and two runs.

The Thunder took a 2-1 lead in the fourth on a run-scoring single by Eddy Rodriguez, who also later had the game-winning RBI on a groundout.

Portland tied the game in the fifth inning on three consecutive two-out hits by Carlos Asuaje, Sam Travis and Tim Roberson.
