BANGOR, Maine — City firefighters were busy Thursday morning participating in search and rescue training at a vacant residence on Chester Place.
Assistant Chief Darrell Cyr said the training exercises were designed to keep firefighters’ skills fresh on search and rescue efforts during fires.
Cyr said the trainings are conducted every few months.
