SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — A collision between a motorcycle and car sent one man to the hospital Sunday morning, according to a dispatcher with the South Berwick Police Department.

Few details were available Sunday afternoon on the accident, but, according to the dispatcher, a man riding a motorcycle collided with a car just after 10:30 a.m. on Route 236 near Fifes Lane.

The operator of the motorcycle was transported by ambulance with unspecified injuries to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire.

The identities of the driver of the car and of the operator of the motorcycle were not immediately available Sunday afternoon.
