FARMINGTON, Maine — A Chesterville man wanted on a child rape charge out of Massachusetts was arrested Wednesday, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Mark Bennoch, 53, had a fugitive from justice warrant for his arrest out of Bristol County in Massachusetts, according to Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Bennoch had been wanted on a rape of a child case out of the Bay State, Nichols said.
Bennoch was brought to the Franklin County Jail, where he remains pending extradition.
