TOPSHAM, Maine — Officers from the Topsham Police Department say they were called to Lee’s Tires on Monument Place Friday morning for a report of an injured owl in the parking lot.
Here is the comment posted to their Facebook page:
“One of the perks of our line of work is being able to assist with sick or injured animals. We picked up this beauty after someone called to report an injured owl. Hopefully the folks at Avian Haven (http://www.avianhaven.org/) will be able to work their magic and get the owl back on his/her feet.”
