Maine Gov. Paul LePage has been known for his blunt approach and sometimes politically incorrect delivery. His opponents have blasted him for being insensitive with his speech almost as much as they’ve taken issue with his policies and proposals.

Supporters have argued that LePage’s straight-talk approach is a refreshing departure from politics-as-usual in Augusta, and despite being no stranger to controversy, the Republican was convincingly re-elected in 2014.

While the world was a very different place when British Prime Minister Winston Churchill held office — in the 1940s and 1950s — the wartime politician was also known for his blunt approach. Although their political philosophies don’t match up perfectly, Churchill and LePage are both known as conservatives and there is overlap in their world views.

Each of the 10 quotations below has been attributed to either Churchill or LePage. Can you tell which man said these things?
