As representatives from around the world finish up the global climate talks in France, here’s here’s a video from Fusion about three towns that are already working to reduce their carbon emissions.

It looks at Burlington, Vermont; Dardesheim, Germany; and Dharnai, India.

Burlington, for example, is entirely powered by renewable energy.

“I think a lot of people don’t understand how many success stories there are with the environment,” said Miro Weinberger, the mayor of Burlington. “We are making progress on this issue of climate change, and there’s every reason to be optimistic about our future and I think that optimism can fuel progress.”

Check out the video to see how each place is trying to lower its carbon emissions.
