WINDHAM, Maine — Maine State Police say a 34-year-old woman was shot and killed by her husband inside her Windham home early Thursday morning.
Police say Alicia Gaston died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Police identified her husband, 33-year-old Noah Gaston, as the shooter.
Officials say the couple’s three children, ages 9, 8 and 2, were in the house at the time of the shooting.
The shooting was reported by Noah Gaston around 6:15 a.m. at the home on Brookhaven Drive, which is off of Route 302.
No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
