GARLAND, Maine — Firefighters were battling a structure fire on Avenue Road Friday afternoon, according to officials.
The blaze was reported shortly after 1 p.m., according to a dispatcher at Penobscot Regional Communications Center.
The dispatcher added the structure was fully engulfed in flames, but no other details were available.
