PRESQUE ISLE — Husson University’s Alannah Healy allowed only three hits in seven innings to lead the Eagles to a 4-0 victory over the University of Maine-Presque Isle Owls in the first game of a doubleheader Monday at O’Keefe Field.
Husson won the second game 8-0 in five innings to earn the sweep.
Healy didn’t walk a batter and struck out six in the the first game. Elizabeth Richard and Courtney McIntyre sparked the Eagles with two hits and an RBI each.
Carly Bell, Katie Patenaude and Amanda Allen each singled for UMPI.
Lyndsay Merrill paced Husson (5-15) in the second game with two hits and two RBIs. Elizabeth Richard also drove in two runs with an RBI double and sacrifice fly.
Courtney McIntyre earned the win with four shutout innings while giving up two hits and a walk. She struck out five.
Hannah Williams had two hits for UMPI (17-9).

USM 21, UMF 2
At Hannaford Field in Gorham, the University of Southern Maine surged to an 11-1 halftime lead en route to the victory.
Heather Everett recorded five goals and an assist to lead USM (2-6) while Sarah Pelligrinelli added four goals and Shauna Robert had three. Sam Campobasso chipped in with two goals and two assists and Colleen Fleming had two goals and an assist. Caley Presby had three saves and Miriam Wood had one.
Sierra Gilley scored both goals for UMF (2-5) and Alyssa Arsenault finished with 11 saves.
