GRAY, Maine — A dusting of light snow is expected to hit southern parts of the state early Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Light snow is possible until 8 a.m. Tuesday before it is expected to change over to rain, according to the weather service.
Overnight low temperatures were expected to hover in the upper 20s and lower 30s, according to the weather service. Temperatures in far northern Maine could dip as low as the upper teens.
The precipitation is expected to remain in Cumberland, York and Oxford counties, with mostly cloudy skies expected throughout Tuesday for the Bangor area.
