BANGOR, Maine — The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office and Bangor Police Department will be conducting a drug take back at the Airport Mall parking lot off Union Street in Bangor from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
The police and sheriff’s office have also partnered with AARP to include a document-shredding event from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the same location.
Stop by with your unused or expired medication and your sensitive documents to have them safely disposed of.
If you can’t make this event, law enforcement agencies across the state will be conducting individual “Drug Take Back” events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office will be at Cascade Park on State Street in Bangor while Bangor Police Department will collect at its station at 240 Main St.
