BANGOR, Maine — Continued work on the overpass carrying Union Street over Interstate 95 will result in several lane closures over the next week, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

The work will involve closing one lane of traffic in the northbound or southbound lane to allow construction progress between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.

On Sunday, the southbound travel lane, southbound onramp and northbound travel lane will be shut down. On Monday, the southbound travel lane and onramp and northbound passing lane shut down. The southbound passing lane and northbound travel lane will close Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
