BRUNSWICK, Maine — Police on Monday are seeking two Brunswick men for questioning about the stabbing of an Ohio man Sunday afternoon on Market Lane.
Robert W. Mckenney, 43, and Wendell D. Casler, 38, have been identified as suspects in the stabbing, which took place at 2:17 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Brunswick Police Department.
Officers went to the 7-Eleven parking lot on Maine Street and found a 39-year-old Ohio man, with stab wounds to his arm and chest. He was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he continues to receive treatment.
Brunswick police executed a search warrant at 19 Market Lane and recovered “items of evidentiary value,” and the weapon used in the alleged assault was found at a separate location, Brunswick police Cmdr. Marc Hagan said.
