SANFORD, Maine — A local man who had been reported missing on Thursday was located Friday morning, according to Sanford police.

Romeo Lapierre, who had been scheduled to return home after dropping off Kimberly Kramer-Lapierre in West Gardiner, was located in Knox County by sheriff’s deputies in his vehicle, according to a statement from Sanford police.

Police reported in the statement Lapierre is OK but disoriented, and his family has been notified.

Lapierre suffers from multiple medical problems and requires medication.
