A partially submerged lobster boat between Chebeague and Long Islands in Casco Bay has Coast Guard officials looking for its owner and investigating if anyone was on board.
The Coast Guard received the report early Saturday afternoon for a boat in Chandler Cove, off the south side of Chebeague Island.
At this point, there is no indication anyone was on board when the boat submerged, but Coast Guard officials hope to track down the boat’s owners to find out what happened and get the boat removed from the water.
There are no reports of any missing persons. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Coast Guard in South Portland at 767-0303.
