The Portland Police Department says it’s working with Occupational Safety and Health Association, or OSHA, on a workplace death investigation.
Police say a 30-year-old man working for a roofing company fell off a roof at 157 Congress St. at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
The man was taken to Maine Medical Center, where he later died.
