A Skowhegan pastor used his church sign to not only predict a New England Patriots win Sunday, he correctly picked the exact score of the game, according to the Morning Sentinel.
“God doesn’t have a favorite team, but the pastor does,” the Skowhegan Federated Church sign reads, followed by: “Patriots 37, Chiefs 31.”

The sign message was posted Friday, the newspaper reported. Sure enough, on Sunday night, the Patriots defeated the Kansas Chiefs, 37-31, in the AFC championship game to advance to the Super Bowl.
“I would like to think it was divine intervention, but I’m not that crazy,” Rev. Mark Tanner, 62, told the Morning Sentinel.
