No. 6 Monmouth Academy defeated No. 11 Mount Abram 68-52 Thursday evening to earn a spot in the C South boys basketball tournament.
Monmouth Academy extends its season with a record of 13-6. Mount Abram’s season ends at 7-12.
The team will play again on Monday, Feb. 18, when Monmouth Academy faces No. 3 Hall-Dale in the quarterfinals.
Neither Monmouth Academy nor Mount Abram earned a berth in the 2018 Class C South tourney.
