The second-seed Maranacook boys looked dominant in a Saturday B South quarterfinal game against No. 7 Yarmouth, winning the match 55-41.
Maranacook took a 25-14 lead by the end of the first half, and never looked back. The team also forced 12 turnovers in the first half.
Maranacook’s record improves to 17-2. Yarmouth’s season ends at 8-11.
Maranacook moves on to face No. 3 Cape Elizabeth in the semifinals on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Cross Arena in Portland.
