The second-seeded Scarborough girls’ basketball team beat No.7 Bonny Eagle 40-27 to advance to the AA South semifinals.
Scarborough improves to a 12-7 record. Bonny Eagle finishes their season with a 5-14 record.
Scarborough will play the winner of No. 6 Sanford and No. 3 Massabesic at the Portland Expo Center on Feb. 20 at 6 p.m.
Scarborough won the 2019 AA South tournament. Bonny Eagle reached the semifinals in 2019. They were defeated by South Portland.
