Halle Pelletier scored seven of her game-high 22 points to help fuel a fourth-quarter surge on Thursday as top-seeded Greenville earned its second straight trip to the Class D South girls basketball championship game with a 52-33 semifinal win over No. 4 Seacoast Christian Academy of South Berwick at the Augusta Civic Center.
The defending regional champion Lakers (18-2) play No. 3 Valley of Bingham (10-10) in Saturday’s 1 p.m. title contest.
Seacoast Christian finished the season with a 12-7 record.
Pelletier went 8-for-12 from the foul line to pace Greenville, which received nine points from Morgan Noyes and eight from Bianca Breton. The Lakers led by only eight points (39-31) through three quarters, but outscored Seacoast Christian 13-2 to put the game out of reach.
Ellie Leech led Seacoast Christian with nine points, while Kaitlyn Jandreau and Amaya Moore added eight points each.
