The Cross Insurance Center in Bangor announced it was closing to the public until further notice.

Some of the canceled events at the venue are The America East Championship Game Viewing Party, The Harlem Globetrotters, Gabriel Iglesias and Baby Shark Live.

The Maine Credit Unions Box office will also be closed, but tickets for events can still be purchased on ticketmaster.com or by calling 207-561-8333 during box office hours.

More cancellations and rescheduling could occur in the future, according to the Cross Insurance Center.

“The safety and well-being of our guests, employees, performers and athletes is our top priority at the Cross Insurance Center,” the venue said. “We will continue to closely monitor the situation, so that we can quickly make adjustments should the CDC or local authorities recommend different or amended precautionary measures.”
