A serious crash on Route 1A in Dedham Saturday afternoon is expected to close the road for hours, a Hancock County dispatcher said.
No information was immediately available about the crash, but police were encouraging motorists to seek an alternative route. The dispatcher said just before 4:30 p.m. that it was going to be hours before the crash scene was cleared and the road opened again.
