The Kennebec County man who drowned near the outlet of Cobbosseecontee Lake in Manchester on Monday has been identified as 24-year-old Edward Kimball of Manchester, Maine Game Wardens said.
Kimball might have died from “health-related complications while swimming,” according to spokesperson Cpl. John MacDonald.
Kimball died despite lifesaving measures performed by first responders, and his death did not involve a watercraft. His body was recovered quickly in 8 feet of water and about 40 feet from shore, wardens said.
