A child has died after an accidental shooting at a home on Forest Hill Road in Temple.
Maine State Police believe that the child died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, spokesperson Shannon Moss said. Other family members were in the home at the time.
An autopsy will be performed on the child’s body on Friday.
