Power restored after Friday afternoon outage affects 7,587 Bangor residents

Over 7,000 people briefly lost power across Bangor Friday afternoon. Just before 12:45 p.m. much of Bangor went dark in an outage that is still being investigated according to Versant officials. As of 1:16 p.m. power was returned to all customers, Amanda Cummings, a spokesperson for the company said. The outage impacted about 7,587 people, the company said.
