A parking ban will be in effect for downtown Bangor on Monday night, extending into Tuesday morning.

The ban will take effect at 11 p.m. Monday night, and will remain in place until 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning, according to the Bangor Public Works Department.

Vehicles should be moved off city streets to allow for snow removal and cleanup, and any vehicles that are not moved may be ticketed and towed, at the owner’s expense.

Vehicles can be moved to the lower level of the Pickering Square parking garage, the lower level of the Columbia Street deck or in the rear of the Upper Abbott lot, near Harlow Street.

Approved parking areas in the Upper Abbott lot will be marked with signs.
