Country singer Jason Aldean will make his fifth appearance in Bangor this summer when he takes the stage at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in September.

Aldean’s “Rock n’ Roll Cowboy” tour will make its Bangor stop on Saturday, Sept. 10, with opening artists Gabby Barrett, John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver. Tickets, starting at $30, will go on sale via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18.

Aldean has played in Bangor three other times, including a 2008 concert at the then-Bangor Auditorium, and performances in 2012, 2014 and 2018 at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion, now known as the Maine Savings Amphitheater. He has been named the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year three times, and has had 26 No. 1 country hits and seven platinum-selling albums.

The Aldean concert joins three other previously announced concerts set for the Maine Savings Amphitheater, including Keith Urban on July 23, the Foo Fighters on July 27 and REO Speedwagon and Styx on Sept. 18. More concerts in Bangor will be announced in the coming days and weeks.
