A man died in a head-on crash in Corinth Monday morning.

Police responded to a call around 6:12 a.m. about a crash involving a GMC pickup truck and a Kia Sorento on Exeter Road, according to the Penobscot County’s Sheriff’s Office.

The 59-year-old driver of the Kia died at the scene and the other driver, a 69-year-old male, was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor with serious injuries, officials said.
