An inmate at the Maine State Prison died on Wednesday.
David Bileau, 58, formerly of Portland, died at approximately 5:03 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Anna Black, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Corrections.
Bileau had been sentenced to 39 months in prison for probation revocation in October 2020, Black said.
His death was attended by medical staff, and the state medical examiner has been notified.
