Maine’s first Costco is set to open later this year in Scarborough.
The Scarborough Planning Board approved the 161,000-square-foot facility last August.
The facility is located at Scarborough Downs and will have a gas station.
The closest Costco is currently in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Costco has been working on the Scarborough location for more than a year and expects to open a year ahead of schedule in November.
