A 65-year-old man died Thursday morning when his pickup truck crashed in Athens.
James Troy was driving his pickup truck south on Chapman Ridge Road when he left the road and crashed into a ditch, according to the Sun Journal.
Troy, who was the only person in the truck and not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, but alcohol is not considered a factor, the Sun Journal reported.
