Berwick police are close to solving the mystery of the abandoned school bus.
The school bus, emblazoned with the words Bridgewater-Raynham, was left Wednesday morning in the intersection of Worcester and Pine Hill roads, according to the Berwick Police Department.
Bridgewater-Raynham is a school district northeast of Taunton in Massachusetts.
Berwick police said that the school bus was taken out of service about three years ago. During that time, it was sold at least twice.
Berwick police said Thursday that officers have located the person responsible for the bus and continue to investigate.
