A Glenburn man has been accused of trafficking fentanyl.

Scott Senechal, 38, was charged with aggravated drug trafficking and violating his conditions of release, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, deputies carried out a probation check on Senechal at an Orono Road residence, where they found nearly half a pound of suspected fentanyl, other drugs and a firearm, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office said Wednesday that a follow-up search turned up four firearms, as well as crack cocaine, cocaine and methamphetamine.

Senechal was taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor.
