Brewer residents and visitors might notice an increased police presence in the area of the Riverwalk in the next few days, according to the Brewer Police Department.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are expected to be in the area for police training, Capt. Anthony Pinette said on Tuesday.
Pinette said about 20 officers are expected to attend the training, which will continue on and off for several days.
Passersby are not likely to notice anything unusual, He said.
“They won’t see much of anything,” Pinette said. They’ll see a bunch of police cars.”
